Radio Woodshed it's radio, with pensioners
Welcome to the Woodshed, where it all happens. It’s a real woodshed, or was. We put a roof on and replaced the sacking hole with a window, and it works good. There’s a radio studio at one end of the sturdy workbench and at the other is a state-of-the-art news-gathering service. Eat your heart out, Murdochs.
The woodshed is down a garden path in the garden of a house in VilleDale, an archetypical small town and winner of the National Archetypal Small Town Award three times in a row, most recently in 2013.
Villedale boasts three supermarkets, a hospital and fully functional container port, but don’t believe any of that – the town is an invertebrate liar.
Radio Woodshed plays an eclectic mix of music, chat, chatty music and musical chatter 24 hours a day, seven days a week, around the clock, and more. Most of the time the station is on autopilot, except when the bot is in charge.
The Weakly Whirled News has been around for over a decade, regularly summarising world and local events and presenting them in a form that’s easy to digest. To date, over 7 viewers have logged on.
